Spartan Race - Burnet, TX

Amber had the crazy idea of running in the Spartan Race near Austin last weekend.  I was the support crew, SAG Wagon, camp cook and quartermaster.  She finished, a little beat up, but finished.

 

Camping with the Tear Drop Camper

Last weekend we went to Austin so that Amber could run in the Spartan race and also to camp with the Tear Drop Camper and use our newly built Chuck Box. 

Berlin 2014

Last week I was in Berlin for Business.  I was meeting with our affiliates from Spain and Italy, David was there from London as well.  We managed to see the Brandenburg Gate, Holocaust Museum, Check Point Charlie, Berlin Wall, Reichstag Bldg and even took a river cruise one night to see Berlin at night.

 

Burton Cotton Gin Festival

A few weekends ago we rode out to Burton, TX to see the Cotton Gin Festival.  There they have a car show, crafts, tractor pull competition, small engine collection and of course the oldest continuing Cotton Gin West of the Mississippi.  The Engine in the video below powers the entire gin and is a 1925 Bessemer twin cylinder diesel.
